LDM Core Module
LDM core module is the engine that runs basic LIS functions like patient data management , order entry ,test necessity check , sample labeling, work list distribution, results entry, review and release, workflow monitoring and management reports.

Sample Tracking
Barcoded samples are scanned when moved from sample collection to distribution, preparation, analysis till storing or disposal. LDM tracks the location and custody of each individual sample. Thus locating any lost sample, follow chain of custody for particular sample and providing valuable reports about average time consumed in any location or processing station.

Analyzers’ Interface
Automating data exchange between LIS system and automated laboratory analyzers dramatically speeds up the analysis process and eliminates many potential sample programming and results typing errors. Analyzers identify barcoded samples ID's and receive their work orders from LDM. Results are transmitted from analyzers to LDM as soon as they are available. LDM interfaces to over 200 different clinical analyzer models including core lab automation systems, pre analytical instruments down to smaller analyzers.

Quality Control
LDM LIS, sophisticated quality control features make QC management quick, efficient and easy. Configurable Westgard and Levi Jenning rules and support for qualitative and quantitative QC help you get the most from your quality control data. LDM provides clear QC monitoring graphs, immediate access to QC records and a set of comprehensive daily and cumulative reports.

Results Auto Verification
LDM applies user defined algorithms and automatically applies them on results without the need for human intervention. This action could be the immediate verification of a result, repeat analysis, reflexive testing, addition of comments, or suggested manual steps including manual review of the result. Auto verification ensures that every result consistantly receives the same review process.

Integration & Web based Reporting

LDM integrates with hospital information systems, EMR, financial systems and other laboratories using standard HL7 protocol and implementing IDC10, LOINIC and CPT 4 codes.
Custom Integrations are developed for systems not supporting the HL7 format.

Web Based Reporting
Laboratory results reports can be viewed, saved and printed on line. Web based reporting saves the time and effort consumed during collection of printed results. It can be securely used by hospitals, other labs, doctors' clinics and patients.

LDM Outreach add-on module helps physicians, poly clinics, smaller laboratories make electronic ordering directly to your LDM LIS   and receive results over the internet or mobile. It enables you to run a more efficient, effective and profitable outreach and lab to lab referral business, by helping:

  • Differentiate your service from competitors with private branding of lab services.
  • Improve turnaround time for test result delivery with real-time connectivity
  • Eliminate the need to re-label samples when they arrive in the lab with instrument-ready bar-code specimen collection labels produced in the collection facility

LDM supports multiple pricing policies and price lists. The system monitors credit limits and insurance coverage for each and every work order. LDM captures charges while accounting for credit rules, order cancelations or merges and special charging requirements. Client invoices are generated easily and hospital patient charges are sent automatically to the financial system.

Mobile Application
With LDM Mobile application hospital doctors are notified as soon as results (critical, abnormal or all) are released with the option of online viewing, download or sharing with others.
Independent laboratories notify their patients as well. Laboratories can send specific messages to specific patients with personalized health tips, reminders and greetings.
*Available for Android and IOS

System Management & Event Alerting
LDM system monitors and analyzes all operational and technical events that occur in the system, and then directs important alerts to designated persons. Operational issues like results delays are directed to lab supervisors, QC violations directed to QC officer while server issues are directed to IT staff, all with escalation policies if not resolved in a defined period of time.

Maintenance Manager
Maintenance Manager helps improve equipment maintenance, extend asset life, and reduce part inventories - resulting in lower operating costs. It helps schedule preventive maintenance, inspections, track work orders and generate reports. These features result in savings in asset replacement and more efficient maintenance practices.

Architectures:Depending on your business needs, infrastructure and budget, LDM can be implemented in one of two architectures:

Desktop version:

Works on local area networks for customers having less network connectivity infrastructure between their locations and branches.

LDM runs in each branch or location on a small server that synchronizes its orders, results and financials with main server in near real time over secure ordinary internet connections.

Were LDM is installed in a data center and all laboratory locations, branches and even customers use and access the system using the lab intranet or even the internet. The data center can be a private center inside the laboratory or dedicated servers in a Secure hosting data center.  The beauty of web LDM is its architectural simplicity.

All you need is a PC with a web browser Internet or corporate intranet access. There is absolutely no software Installed on your PC, so you don’t have to worry about the software’s configuration, computer’s disk space, memory and conflicts with other software.

PCs come equipped with a browser and Internet connectivity is now so prevalent that you can use web LDM LIS from anywhere at any time.

The new version offers:

  • Centralized data system
  • Easy access anywhere at any time through the internet
  • Easy configuration in seconds
  • Faster implementation and installations
  • Less need for support
  • Lower investment costs
